What we collect

Your email address, and the date and time you registered. Nothing else. This website does not use cookies or analytics.

Why we use it, and our legal basis

To send you one email asking you to confirm your address, and then to tell you when DataFixer opens (and closely related launch news). Your address is only added to our list once you click the link in the confirmation email. Our legal basis is your consent. You can withdraw it at any time using the unsubscribe link in every email.

Who handles it

Your email is stored in the DataFixer database, hosted by DigitalOcean in [region, confirm before publishing], and our emails are sent by Mailgun, which acts as our processor [say where it processes data and what safeguard applies if outside the UK]. We do not sell your data or share it for advertising.

How long we keep it

If you never confirm, we delete your address after [period, matches the app setting, for example 30 days]. Once confirmed, until DataFixer opens and we have sent the launch email, and no longer than [period, for example 12 months]. If you unsubscribe we keep only your email address on a do-not-contact list so we never email you again; if you want that removed too, contact us.
